once a god - now seeking for a more exciting live as human.
found that sentence in those news at sinsofasolarempire.com: "You'll be able to find available games in Sins, Demigod, or The Political Machine (for starters) right from Impulse." Does that mean that Demigods online match making platform won't be GPGnet? If so, make sure you include all the cool features of GPGnet (live-replays, replay/map/mod vault) and polish it a bit more than GPGnet in its current state

Probably for DemiGod, but not for everything else.

Although, as I said before, I'd love to see the rest of the GPG lineup join StarDock.

Yeah.. Stardock, GPG and Ironclad are going to build up some "unified multiplayer architecture", that's suppose to pwn all. So Impulse will be the program for Demigod.

I'd like to know if there are plans to abandon GPGnet and move Supcom to Impulse as well, since it sounds better systems and it would be nice if all games could be launched from the same program...

I wondered this too.

GPG where planning to overhaul GPGnet anyways.. so why not use their talents to make impulse better?

I think it would be cool to have them merge and just use Impulse.

Perhaps they intend to use Impulse for SDC's download/install/update/community role, with GPG's "update" becoming the "link up for games" and "chat" program?
